Mission Statement

The Crestline Exempted Village School District will provide a positive learning environment that will allow all students to be life-long learners and socially responsible citizens, able to communicate and lead with confidence in an ever changing world.

  • Staff, students, families, and the community share the responsibility for the development of a student’s conduct, self esteem, and academic achievement

District Goals 

(Adopted 3/19/14)

  • Increase enrollment by 10% by the 2018-2019 school year
  • Review and update curriculum materials for at least one department each year including technology
  • Attain and maintain an annual graduation rate of 100%
  • Create Crestline Exempted Village School District as a “No Failure Zone” with a target classroom success rate of 100% and all students eligible for extra-curricular activities
  • Create a “Bully Free Zone” and reduce the instances of unsafe acts in the classroom
  • Create an incentive program for perfect attendance
  • Provide training for classified staff to ensure positive student interactions
  • Create core beliefs and goals in order to meet the district mission within in each department (These will be reported to the Board of Education at a Board Meeting annually.)
  • Increase extra-curricular participation by 10% per year (with a revision to drug testing policy and addition of an education program)
  • Have all boosters, parent organizations, and student clubs report to the Board three times each school year
