Officer Biographies and Duties
President
Duties: As president of the local FCCLA chapter of Crestline High School I am to uphold the chapter and maintain its functionality. I am to encourage the promotion of Family and Consumer Science knowledge. I am to represent my local chapter at school meetings as well as regional/district, state, and national meetings. I am to confer with my adviser and school officials to update situations and ask for permission as needed. Finally, and most importantly, I am to provide opportunities for all members to express ideas and share responsibilities.
Vice President
Duties: As vice president of the local FCCLA chapter of Crestline High School I am to encourage and assist our president. In times of absence of our president, I am to fulfill the roll of president. I am to work with members on the development of the program of work and edit as needed.
Secretary
Duties: As secretary of the local FCCLA chapter of Crestline High School, I am to help assist the president with unfinished business, as needed. I am to keep accurate and exact unites of meetings and activities of the organization. I am to make minutes and other materials available to members and others by reading, posting, circulating, or any other means. I am to keep attendance and keep a running affiliation sheet. I am to count and record official votes.
Treasurer
Duties: As treasurer of the local FCCLA chapter of Crestline High School, I am to oversee all financial records and functions. I am to assist the adviser in the collecting of state and national dues. I am to record receipts of all outgoing and incoming money. I am to prepare a budget report to be discussed at every meeting and work closely with the adviser to manage money. I am to lead fundraising committees and present tentative budget and fundraising schedules to the chapter for approval.
