ACT Registration available online

The ACT is one of most widely used college entrance exams. It is a good idea to take the ACT the first time in your junior year of high school, leaving time to take it again as a senior if you are not happy with your scores the first time. Students may register for the ACT by picking up a packet in the guidance office, or by registering online. More information is also available at http://www.actstudent.org/. Students wishing to practice for the ACT may also pick up a practice test booklet in the guidance office. ACT offers an online prep class for those who are interested as well.

SAT Registration available online

The SAT is another widely used college entrance exam. Be sure to check and see whether your college requires this test or not. Some out-of-state schools only accept SAT test results. SAT information and registration is available here. A list of SAT test dates may be viewed here.

AIR Statement from ODE

State achievement tests tell us how well our students are growing in the knowledge and skills outlined in Ohio’s Learning Standards. These tests help guide and strengthen future teaching so we can be sure that we are preparing our students for long-term success in school, college, careers and life. Test results also allow citizens to know how their local schools are performing compared to others around the state.
